Allowances
The students of Valga County Vocational Training Centre have the right to apply for the following allowances:
*study allowance
*special allowance
*school meal allowance
*reimbursement of travel expenses
Applying for the allowances takes place through the study information system Tahvel.edu.ee
Initial information on application opportunities is provided by the course leaders.
Study allowance
Study allowance is a financial support for full-time students with good study results studying on places funded by the state budget.
The procedure for the payment of study allowances is regulated by the study organisation rules of Valga County Vocational Training Centre Annex 4.
Special allowance
Special allowance is a form of financial support for a student who has obstacles to studying, e.g. a difficult economic situation.
The conditions of applying for, granting and paying the special allowance are regulated by the study organisation rules of Valga County Vocational Training Centre Annex 5
School meal allowance
The school meal allowance is intended to cover the costs of school meals for vocational students studying on the basis of basic education.
Covering the costs of school meals is regulated by the conditions and procedure for using the school meal allowance of the Valga County Vocational Training Centre
Reimbursement of travel expenses
Reimbursement of travel expenses is intended for full-time students to travel home from school and back again.
Reimbursement of travel expenses is regulated by the scope and procedure of annual reimbursement of travel expenses of students of Valga County Vocational Training Centre as well as the scope and procedure of reimbursement of travel expenses of students of public schools
