Information for first year students
The academic year starts with the course leader’s class on August 30, 2021, in the participation of which you will receive important information about studying at the school and the study organisation.
Session training and work-based learning groups start according to the time of the sessions.
Studying
The Valga County Vocational Training Centre uses the study information system Tahvel (tahvel.edu.ee), where you can log in using an ID card or mobile ID.
Please make sure you have access to these login tools.
At our school, the school year is divided into eight five-week study periods.
Studies usually take place on every working day. Studies usually start at 8.30 in the morning. Classes last 90 minutes, which is equivalent to two academic hours.

You can find your study group timetable with the venue and the name of the teacher here.
Boarding school facility
Accommodation in the boarding school facility will take place on August 29, 2021 from 12.00.
Agreement with the boarding school facility is concluded on the day of arrival. A deposit of fifty (50) euros must be paid before concluding the agreement.

Student card and e-mail
All first-year students receive a school e-mail address in the form of name.surname@vkok.ee, through which communication and information exchange with the school takes place.
You will receive the password for the e-mail account on the first day of school in the course leader’s class. The student card is printed during the first week of study and you can get it from the study department or the course leader.
